Accessorize!

This LO is for the Just Because Weekly challenge on the Circle Blog.  This is my daughter last year, she went all day wearing her goggles and a diaper.  I tried to put clothes on her and she would take them off.

The papers are from recollections, but are very similar to a DCWV small stack....hmmmm stange!

I tried to hide all of her "parts" that don't need to be seen with words and other emblishments.  - I do try to keep my scrapbooks "G" rated! :)

The goggles are cut from H2O, "Accessorize" is cut from Forever Young in 3 sizes, "stylin" and "Fashion" are cut from Groovy Times, and the cute Turtle is from Paisley.  (my daughter's name is Paizley, that is the only reason I bought this cart, but I love it now!)

Thanks for looking, I hope you all have a great day!

Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Guts

I know it is spring and we are supposed to be making flowers, not jack-o-lanterns, but the mood struck me to do some scrapbooking from fall.  Maybe it is the lack of pollen in the fall, I don't know, but I just finished this layout a little bit ago.

I used Don Jaun for the font and Pumpkin Carving for the faces.  The paper is DCWV Autumn splendor.

Here is a close up of the left side.

I know, the  pictures aren't the greatest, but it is late and I am tired! I didn't realize they were that bad until I had them loaded already!

Anyway, Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Thinking of you Card

My apologies this digi stamp is from Squigglefly digital stamps.  I am so sorry for causing any confusion.

I made this card in a flash with the help of the digi and my Imagine.  I used the Blossom cartridge for the yellow paper with the flowers and cut out one of the original shapes that is on the machine.  I used my big shot to emboss the pink paper and used white chalk ink to ink it just a little to make it pop.  The flowers have gem brads in the center.

I have entered this card in the following challenges
Do you Stack up - Shine on
Pile it on - Bling
Whoopsie Daisy - Easter Colors
Sugar Creek Hollow- anything goes
Paper Cutz Challenge- anything goes
Teddy Stampers-embossing
Your next stamp- sparkle
One stop Craft Challenge - diamonds are....
Stampin with the Dragon- spring

Thanks for looking and have a scrap-tastic day!

Last 2 cards for the Circle Challenges

The first challenge I worked on was "Wet and Wild" and we had to use a "wet" project.  For mine I used stickles. I made a Hello Kitty Card for a special little girl who I hope will be surprised!

The card is cut from Hello Kitty Greetings and her clothes were printed with the Imagine More Cards cartrige.

The second challenge was to use a frame in your project. I made a thinking of you card using only the Imagine Better Together cartridge.  It is such a cool cartridge!

Thank you Card and gift set

I made this gift set for a friend of our family that has done a lot for us lately.  I used a Penny Black stamp for the card, which I left blank for a personal note.
I  think the patterned paper is a DCWV I colored the stamp with my Prisma colors.

I also made this note card holder with the note cards, thanks to the tutorial on the Cricut Circle MB. I used the same papers and the monogram cuts are from gypsy font.

Thanks for looking!

Belated Birthday Card

This card is for the color challenge on the Cricut Circle online swarm this weekend.  It may not have been the colors I would have chosen, but I think I like the way it tuned out.   Remember, I am a scrapbooker not a card maker!

I used the Forever Young cartridge and Imagine Blast off cartridge for the cuts.  The girl is cut at 4.5 inches and printed with prints from Blast off.  The word Details is 1 inch and the rest of the words are printed on my home printer.
The papers are from the DCWV all about girls mini mat stack.

Paradise Found

I made this layout for a challenge on the Cricut Circle online swarm, we are having some fun since we couldn't make it to Texas for the stampede.  It was a sketch challenge, this is the sketch

Now, usually I don't like to use sketches because all my layouts are double pages and it doesn't seem like there are many for that, but this one really inspired me, so I gave it a shot and turned it into a double page layout.

This is the first time my little girl saw the beach.  The papers are from Making Memories.  Here is a close up of the left side

The waves at the top are cut from a punch, I think it is a fiskars.  The bottom waves are from the Life is a Beach cartridge welded together.  Here is the right side of the layout, which is very close to the sketch I think!
The charm is also cut from Life is a Beach and the Journal block is from Imagine More Cards.  I only used one layer for it.  The title is cut from Lyrical Letters.  I think that is all for now.  Thanks for looking!

Happy 5th Birthday

I have been thinking about this layout for almost 2 years now, and just didn't get it done.  Of course it helps that I finally got the Boys will be Boys Cricut Cartridge recently.  The papers are from The Paper Studio Boys and their Toys stack.  Great prints, but I did find the paper to be very thin, so  I  mounted the entire layout on white cardstock.

Here is a close up of the left side

The big tire that I used for the title is from Boys will be boys, and the font is from base camp.  I used my gypsy and welded the letters to the tire and then used the negative space for the lettering. The trucks are also from Boys will be boys.   There is a cake brad in the bed of the blue truck and 3balloon brads in the bed of the green truck.

Here is a close up of the right side

This green truck has button presents falling out of it and a party hat brad in the bed too.  The pocket I made on my gypsy with a square and a triangle.  I keep all the invitations and cards from birthday parties, and I figured this would be a great place to keep them all.

So there it is, a layout and  blog update! Go me! LOL Thanks for looking!
