Ok, so as I mentioned yesterday, it has been a long crazy week, filled with sick kids and holiday hustle and bustle already!  Well, gift giving time is creeping up on me, and I had planned to have this project done a long time ago...but it is 1:00 a.m and I am just finally done!

These will be the gifts for my children's teachers this year.  I have been seeing all the beautiful glitter ornaments and decided I would give it a shot.  Let me tell you, they are so super easy, but look beautiful.  I can't wait to see some on the tree with all the lights.

In case you don't know about this technique, I'll give the short story on it.

You need:
Clear glass ornaments
Mop and glo (I used the dollar general brand and it worked fine)
Ultra fine glitter

First remove the topper of the ornament and pour some floor polish into the bulb, and swirl it around. Next drain off any excess.  I left mine upside down for about five minutes.  Then pour the glitter into the ornament.  (It takes a lot) Swirl or shake the ornament until it is covered in glitter, the dump out the excess.  Easy Peasy!!!!  Then you can decorate the outside, or leave them plain!  I chose to add ribbon around the ornament and then added a monogrammed  oval for the teachers.  I used A Child's year for the cuts.

Here are the 3I have finished.

Now, these need to be wrapped too, and what better way than a box fromtags, bags, boxes and more?  Cut at 11.35 inches in height they are perfect for your ornament.

I cut out my boxes, added a tag from Very Merry Tags, the sentiment from 3 Birds, ribbon handle and Viola!!!  Gifts are done!  Now to finish the other 12 or so I need to finish! LOL

If you were here yesterday you know that I do have candy for the hop...but I couldn't tell you what it was because...well... I didn't have it yet! (I really like to wait until the last minute!)  Well...how about this, the winner will get to chose either Speaking of Fall or Sans Serif and which ever the winner doesn't chose will be up for blog candy next weekend in another hop I am in.

How do you win? Well if you left a comment yesterday you are already entered once.  If you leave another you will be entered twice.  I will draw on Tuesday.

Ok, I've rambled enough, I need to go to bed and you all need to hop on!
Your next stop is Paper Frolic

Merry Christmas everyone!
