Still in the Christmas spirit

I decided that I needed to get caught up on some Christmas pages before I printed 2010's pictures.  Well, I had 2 years to do for my daughter alone, so I worked on them today.  The first layout I did is from 2009.  I used my Gingerbread cartridge MS Seasonal Cake Art for the font. (I love my cricut).  The little gingerbread house is opens up to hide journaling.  The paper and stickers are Heidi Grace.

The second layout I made is from 2008.  The only cricut cut is the title and it is from Winter Frolic.  The paper is from paper studio.

Cartridge Challenge

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!  I did! My family and I spent the Holiday's at home enjoying each other.

For the New Year I have decided that I would challenge myself to use all my cricut cartridges at least once.  There are so many that I just never seem to use.  This topic was brought up on the Cricut Circle Forum and  jumped on board.  Someone (sorry, I'm terrible with names!) said she was going to put the names of her cartridges in a jar and draw 2 a week, what a wonderful idea!  SO, I started my jar.  I found out I have 131 cartridges and 3 more on the way...WOW!  I didn't know my addiction had gotten that bad! I am not sure if I am going to draw 2 a week or not.  I thought that I may just use it when I am stuck and need a little motivation to get going again.

But I am starting off on the right foot, for this week I drew my 2 cartridges...and they were Mother's Day 2010 and French Manor...holy cow....that was a hard one for me, and they were both cartridges I have never used.  As I looked through their cuts I decided that I would use these to dress up my jar!

This is what I came up with.  The pink border is from French Manor, the blue tag thing is from Mother's Day and the word "Inspire" is from Gypsy Wanderings.

For my followers, I hope to post more often now that the Holiday's are over, but no promises about how often!
