I have been super busy and haven't had a chance to post my other two layouts that I made for the Cricut Expression 2 challenge. I am not holding hope to win one, (but hubby said I could order one, so Idid!) but it was fun to create them.
The machine is on HSN today and today only, and I have to say, I have seen some amazing projects that were sent in for the contest. In fact, I am proud to say that I know one of the winners, Goddess Nadia at With Glittering Eyes created one of her masterpieces and deserves the E2 she won! Congrats Nadia!
Ok Ok, on with it, my second Layout for the challenge was a Birthday Princess layout. It is pretty simple, but it is pretty!
1. Best Friends – Princess 5.8”
2. Songbird – font 1” (welded with the Gypsy)
3. Twinkle Toes – large shapes 11.15” and 12.32”
4. Yummy – gift 1”
5. Hannah Montana – large crown width 8.42 height 3.8” (stretched on my gypsy)
Cuttlebug Cupcake embossing folder
1. Blue Patterned Paper – We R Memory Keepers Tiffany stack
2. Brown – making memories
3. White – colorblok
4. Pink and teal- Coredinations
5. White glitter – DCWV
6. Copper – my scrap pile
Dew drops- Recollections
Gems- my stash
The next layout I threw together at the last minute, I was just going to do 2, but got inspired while flipping through a magazine and this is what it turned into.
v Party hats – 1.5 inches
v Cupcake – 2.18 inches
v Star and swirl balloons – 2.75 inches
· Birthday Cakes
v Happy Birthday with Balloons – 3 inches
· Birthday Bash-
v Candles – 1.43 inches
v Gifts – 2.37 inches
v Printed paper – I think it is DCWV but it was just in my stash so I could be wrong!
v Green textured paper is Bazzill
v All other cardstock is Core’dinations
I am proud of the way they all turned out, and I don't know which is my favorite, which is yours?
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRICUT!
