The machine is on HSN today and today only, and I have to say, I have seen some amazing projects that were sent in for the contest.  In fact, I am proud to say that I know one of the winners, Goddess Nadia at With Glittering Eyes created one of her masterpieces and deserves the E2 she won!  Congrats Nadia!

Anniversary Card

My parents 40th Anniversary is Monday, so nothing like waiting to the last minute, but I made this card today to send them. I hope it gets there in time!  I am also entering this in the Circle Weekly Challenge which is Handmade flowers.

This is my first easel card, and it was much easier then I thought it would be.  It isn't as detailed as I wanted it to be, but time is wasting away!

So, here it is

I used Storybook for the flowers and the shape on the top.  It is printed from Better Together.  Here is a straight on picture

I cut the shape out and then printed the sentiment on my computer and printed it onto the shape.

It reads:
This special anniversary wish
That comes with love to you
Brings warm and heartfelt thans
For all the thoughtful things you do-

It also comes to let you know
You both mean more each day
To everyone your lives have touched
In such a loving way.

Happy 40th Anniversary

I can be bad with words, so I googled "anniversary card sentiments for parents" and that is what I found, and it fit perfectly.

That is my card, now off to make my dad's birthday card (it is monday too!)
Hopefully I have time to share it too!

Boy Stuff Layout

This is a pretty simple layout, but I really liked the way it turned out, and it went together easily. The pictures are from a sports day we went to for military families.  It is was a great day, and the boys got to do all sort of boy stuff, so I figured that would be a perfect title!

The circles are cut with my Imagine and printed with the Country Carnival Cartridge.  The fonts are from Doodletype and Holiday Cakes.

All the stickers are from 7gypsies.  I am actually kind of proud that I remembered to use some of them!!!

I used letter brads to put the boys first initial on their pictures, so when I am old and forgetful everyone will be able to tell who is who!  They are only 13 months apart and look a lot alike and they were wearing the same color shirts that day!  I am sure everyone would be confused!

The striped paper is from My Mind's Eye All Boy stack.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Love can transform the world Card

Hi everyone, I have been busily working on my entries for the Cricut E2 contest, and haven't been working on anything for here lately, so I decided I would whip out a card quick with one of my new digi stamps from Pixie Dust Studio.  I LOVE these stamps, they are adorable!

I colored my stamp with prisma color markers.  The scalloped rectangle is from the imagine printed with the Imagine More Cards cartridge, the oval and shape behind the oval is also from this cartridge.  The patterned paper is from DCWV pocket of posies mat stack.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Pixie Dust studio - Say it out loud
Catch the bug challenge- use four or more layers
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Make it Monday's - anything goes

Marker Holder

This month's challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog is to Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle.  We needed to use 3 reused or recycled items and 2 cricut cuts to complete the project.  This challenge was great for me, because I have been wanting to decorate the gatorade container that my prisma color markers are in.

So, I started with a powdered gatorade container, and covered it with paper from my stash. Around the top I added some ribbon that used to be the straps on an old dress my daughter had, but she cut a hole in. (Aren't 3 year olds great?)

Then I made some scalloped circles on m Imagine that are filled in with patterns from the Yummy Cartridge.  In the center of the flowers I put a lid from a jar of flower embellishments, and inside that I put another scalloped circle and the phrase which is cut from Cricut Everyday.

The flourishes are also cut from the Imagine Yummy Cartridge (I think it is one of my fav's right now!)

This was super simple and fast and it looks so much prettier than the ugly orange gatorade can!  Now to empty another one for the rest of my markers!

 Gatorade anyone??????

Circut Circle Weekly Challenge # 27

The weekly challenge for the Cricut Circle Blog is "Make a Game Plan." We had to make a sketch and follow it for this challenge.  I am not a sketch follower, and deinately not a sketch  maker, but I gave it a shot!

Here is my card for the challenge.

I used the Imagine Yummy cartridge for the cake and the sentiment. I also used my CB folder for the embossing, I used Coordiation paper and sanded it. The patterned paper is from DCWV.

Here is a picture of my sketch...keep in mind, I am not a drawer!!!! LOL
Thanks for looking!!!!  Have a great day!
